Pickworths solicitors are a three-partner firm with roots in West Hertfordshire since the 1930’s.  They have established links throughout the business community in the Home Counties and beyond.

Ian joined Pickworths in 1978 and became a partner in 1981.  He is head of the Employment Law Team and he and Mike Powell enjoy an excellent reputation for their expertise in this area of law.  They act for both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law.  Ian has run management seminars for companies with the aim of ensuring that profitability is not compromised through lack of awareness of employee rights and obligations.  He also heads up the firm’s Probate and Will Department. 

Ian is a rugby enthusiast and supports Saracens RFC and England. He is on the committee at Watford based Fullerians RFC and is a qualified referee. He does his best to keep fit by playing squash and in his spare time supports Watford FC, enjoys going to the theatre and also performs on stage with the Kings Langley Light Operatic Society.
